This year marks the 200th anniversary of the abolition of slavery. Unfortunately, 27 million people around the world aren’t celebrating. Join me for Open House this Sunday as we talk to award-winning author David Batstone about the rise of human trafficking and what you and I can do about it.
Plus, Michelle Tumes in the studio. Hope you can join me…

Dear Sheridan,
I always enjoy listening to your program and usually rush from church in the evening to get home so I won't miss it.
I wonder what are we doing as Christians for these 27 millions of slaves across the world and we know for sure that there are so many rich Christians who can campaign for the rights of these humans who are still living in the bondage of slavery because some evil rich souls have decided to keep them in this status.
We are all made by the same God, you and me know well enough that the Lord is coming soon, so we should start preparing a forum to bring forth the plight of these millions in slavery by simply holding an international Christian conference to fight the evil policies of the rich.
All true Christians should rally behind these poor souls so they can be freed from the claws of the evil rich. Jesus came and went on the cross to set all of us free whether poor or rich, king or slave. It's a pity, the evil rich are slaves to their perishable wealth too and so terribly blind.
God bless !
Susan
